HP’s Multi Jet Fusion™ technology offers a unique combination: quality that combines strength, accuracy, resiliency and finish for an overall product that is not currently possible at the speed and price HP is planning to deliver to market.

Not only does it deliver ten times faster(1) speeds, HP Multi Jet Fusion™ technology offers new levels of part quality. HP’s proprietary multi-agent printing process, where multiple liquid agents are applied by HP Thermal Inkjet arrays, can drive new levels of accuracy with uniform part strength in all three axis directions. Also offering full-color 3D print solutions, breakthrough economics(2), an open platform for materials innovation and more, HP Multi Jet Fusion™ Technology is a disruptive 3D printing technology for a new era of manufacturing.

NASA Antares Rocket Explosion [HD] [FULL]

By: Chuck Norris

Originally Published on Oct 28, 2014

A rocket exploded just after it launched from a NASA launchpad on Virginia’s eastern shore bound Tuesday evening on a supply mission to the International Space Station.
Scientists were scrambling to figure out what went wrong as Orbital Sciences’ Antares rocket, carrying an unmanned Cygnus capsule hauling thousands of pounds of space gear, exploded in a fireball just after its 6:22 p.m. ET blast-off.
Nobody was believed to have been injured, though there was significant damage to the equipment.
The launch was supposed to kick off the third in a series of eight planned Orbital delivery missions to ferry crucial equipment and food to astronauts.
This one was also supposed to carry a trove of science experiments.

More information:
An unmanned Antares rocket was launched 6:22 EST from the Virginia Coast to deliver goods to the International Space Station. However, a few seconds after lift-off, the bottom of the rocket got caught up into flames, following the descent of the craft back to the ground and an enormous explosion when it hit the pad

I took this video of the very unfortunate Orbital Sciences rocket explosion on my iPad Mini. Video was taken in our Cessna 177 Cardinal from an altitude of 3000ft. Sorry for the sound. I’ll have a better one up once it’s been edited out.

For the record… anyone (new stations or otherwise) is allowed to use this video for broadcast if they would like. I only ask that you give me credit for it. Any maybe give me a shout-out to Sealing Technologies Inc, our business. 🙂

Published on Oct 22, 2014

We searched NYC for a variety of subway musicians to unite for a live experiment.

We stationed them at 9 different subway stops with wifi and had them simultaneously connect to composer Ljova. He led them in a performance of “Signal Strength,” an original piece he wrote for them.

Listen to the studio recording here:

composed and conducted by LJOVA: http://ljova.com
directed by CHRIS SHIMOJIMA: http://chrisshimojima.com

Eagle flies over Paris with Sony Action Cam Mini

By: Sony Europe

Find out more about the HDR-AZ1 here: http://www.sony.co.uk/electronics/act…

On September 28th 2014, for the first time ever, a white-tailed eagle flew over the streets of Paris, soaring from the very top of the Eiffel Tower to the Trocadero Gardens. The white-tailed eagle has been extinct in France for over 50 years, and so to celebrate this momentous flight we decided to use a Sony Action Cam Mini to record the whole thing from a breath-taking point-of-view.

The event was a collaboration with non-profit organisation FREEDOM, whose objective is to re-introduce the white-tailed eagle into its natural habitat in the French and Swiss Alps.
