Watch with anaglyph 3D glasses!
red = left eye
cyan = right eye

There should be an option to watch on Google Cardboard when on mobile.
Side by Side version for 3D TV / VR Headsets / etc.: https://youtu.be/q1cc-bEXkTs
Original track: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0KDek…
more: http://oscilloscopemusic.com

What you see is what you hear: The audio signal is fed into a software oscilloscope, where vector graphics are drawn with sound. This is done twice, with slightly rotated images for each eye, i.e. four audio channels have been used.

channel 1: horizontal deflection, left eye
channel 2: vertical deflection, left eye
channel 3: horizontal deflection, right eye
channel 4: vertical deflection, right eye

This video is in stereo because YouTube doesn’t support 4-channel audio, but you can download all the WAVs from http://oscilloscopemusic.com (album download now includes the 4-channel WAV, existing download codes still work!) or https://jerobeamfenderson.bandcamp.co… (2 stereo WAVs).

Major thanks to https://www.youtube.com/hansiraber for all the crazy software!
OsciStudio: http://asdfg.me/oscistudio (current version doesn’t support stereoscopic 3D)
Software Oscilloscope this video was rendered with: http://asdfg.me/osci (now supports 4-channel audio / stereoscopic 3D :))

Oscilloscope Music – Pictures from Sound

An oscilloscope can be made to display shapes by playing sounds into it. Making music from these sounds while simultaneously drawing images with those sounds takes things to another level. CLICK SHOW MORE
In the video I fix up and put an old oscilloscope to a new use, and show how you can watch these audio-visual demos even if you don’t have a oscilloscope by using a computer.

If you want to skip the preamble and repair section and jump straight to the demo – it starts at 05:00

If you have an old X/Y capable oscilloscope you’ll probably need a pair of BNC male to RCA female converters like these http://amzn.to/2f67Qsk if you want to connect audio devices to it.
